The Path to an Instrumented Lambda

AWS Lambda functions are super important to instrument, because they run intermittently and typically in the middle of stuff. Sadly they are not the easiest to instrument.

In this post, he hooks OpenTelemetry up to Honeycomb, but you can modify his work to send to a different provider. It is the Lambda part that’s hard.
